Expanding to new Territory in Honduras: Tatumbla
God is on the “move” and has led Larry and Marsha to begin a new ministry in the village of Tatumbla in Honduras. Because of the poverty in this area, many kids come to school hungry and then cannot concentrate on their school work. HFTW will be feeding a nutritious meal to about 700 children in 6 schools. We are also in the process of purchasing the land to begin construction of a new Hope Center, Feeding Center, and Mission House.
Larry and Marsha started working as full-time missionaries with HFTW Honduras in 2016. Please keep Larry and Marsha in your prayers as they embark on this new endeavor of growing and discipling the Christian community, and seeing lives changed through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Dwayne Chase started working in Honduras on short term mission trips since 1985. He supported and helped raise three Honduran children. One of them is now married and she and her husband now serve in Honduras. In 2001, he began to feel called to go as a full-time missionary; he started working with HFTW and with a national pastor in Honduras, Hector Calderon. He and Dwayne have planted 3 churches which also help serve as feeding centers. One water well helps to supply needed water during the dry season. These outreach ministries help to touch the lives of over 800 people in 4 villages.
