New Church in India

New Church in India

Pastor Madhu has served with Hope For The World-India for 20 years.  He pastors a home church in the city, ministers in the slums, and shares the Gospel in remote areas of Jharkhand and Odissa, both of which are anti-conversion states.  This means that it is “illegal” to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in these states, chancing imprisonment or death if caught.  His passion is for the lost in India to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  During his ministry, he has been beaten, homeless, and locked up in jail for preaching the Gospel, but he continues to share.  Due to many coming to Christ, there is a current need to build a church in a remote area of Jharkhand in which Madhu ministers.  The cost of the land purchase for the church is $15,000.00.  To build the church will cost $20,000.00.  Please pray for this need as so many Hindus in this area of Jharkhand need eternal salvation and so many have never heard of Jesus.  Riley and Debbie Shelton, missionary directors for HFTW India.

If you would like to give towards the church you can go to HFTW.org/give, please designate for the church in India or send Hope for the World a check and in the memo line put India church.
